About Maritime Filming UK
Maritime Filming UK was born from 2 passions that have since evolved into a thriving and leading content creation business for the marine industry.
We believe that being specialists in the industry has allowed us to focus our time and energy on creating the best possible content out on the water! We use adapted kit to cope with the salty environment and we understand all the necessary nautical elements to ensure every shoot is a success!
Our Passion
We think Steve Jobs summed it up pretty well: "Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do."
We take it one step further, we don't just love what we do, we do it because we love it! Given how much we love our work, nothing is ever too much trouble!
Experience
Alex started sailing aged 10, around the time he started flying drones too!
Since then he has gone on to become an advanced commercial powerboat skipper and loves a day out on the water, even on his days off!
The valuable asset of real-world experience and marine knowledge often comes in handy when out on the water. Whether its tying a bowline or driving the chase boat Alex is always more than happy to get stuck in!

Fully licenced and insured
You know you are in safe hands when you choose Maritime Filming UK. We are fully PFCO (CAA permission to operate) qualified and hold specific drone insurance for up to £10m. Alex is also a qualified commercial boat skipper too!
